  • No Sign of Abatement of Souffs Hysteria

From the Scots Old Boys Union:

    Rabbitohs Success celebrated at Scots
Whether you were supporting the Bulldogs or the Rabbits in last weekend's NRL Grand Final, it is hard to deny the amazing impact of the Burgess boys to the game and in particular the eventual champions this year. Mrs Julie Burgess, mother to Sam, Luke, Tom and George who have all represented Souths this year, has been a teacher at TSC for the past 2 years and understandably was elated with the result.
"What a roller coaster of emotions we've been through as a family in the past few days! I am incredibly proud to see my sons being part of a team which has made a mark in the history of Australian rugby league. Their hard work, commitment and sacrifices have been rewarded with a Grand Final victory. I am optimistic that Sam will make a full recovery from his injury to his cheekbone; he took me out for dinner with the family for my birthday at the weekend and was in great spirits, back to his usual happy self! I am grateful To The Scots College for the support (and banter!) we've had throughout the season from staff, students and parents. Scots to the fore! " Ms Julie Burgess

And he is me thinking Scots was in the roosters area...

    Fuuck this.

    And fuuck them.

Well said! Not very often I agree with a Roosters supporter but I am on the same page as you regarding Souffs....fuq them fuq the media dribbling on about them. Fuq the NRL they are a bunch of c* nts for helping those inbreds.

              AW,
You couldn't be more wrong. Mostly, except for the most privileged, both parents work to afford to send their sons there. also borders are chiefly country kids or overseas students.
It's a huge asking price at circa $30K per child p.a.

                Hi Andrew Walker,

I wholeheartedly agree with you. There are quite a number of Sydney Roosters fans that have become obsessed with all things South Sydney Rabbitohs related in recent times.

So are a lot of celebrity's kids.

They were sh!t and soft on the rugby field. Loved playing them.

Where did you ply your trade Vasco?

I was a proud member of the Sydney Grammar Two's (and occasionally the One's), and I always hated playing Joeys.

                      Waverley College.

Must have been tough playing for Grammar against some of those schools.

Was very tough back then but at least we put up a fight. The current cohorts doing the rounds at Grammar are heavily occupied by educational scholarships rather than athletic scholarships (as school should be I suppose.

As a result, the rugby teams are on a steep decline, and they haven't earned the nickname Sydney 'Glamour' for their hard nosed style of play...
