And the best pun of all came from the man himself "It put a dampener on our wedding weekend."

To Mrs. 'oooh look at me I married a footballer but was blindsided but please forgive me as I am blonde’ Bird nee Rochow, I sincerely wish you the best of luck - you're going to need it.

Her brother is a footballer Robbie Rochow from the Knights that's how she met Bird I think. So I think she has always been around footy players.

Of course, that may lead to other serious consequences.

The fig trees around Kippax Lake always get a good watering after a Roosters game

Too much urea can be a problem with plants.

True Mickey, but it would have been nice for her not to have her wedding celebrations in the paper for all the wrong reasons. From a female point of view, a wedding day is supposed to be elegant and special, but I guess if you choose to marry the likes of Greg Bird, there are consequences..I just didn't expect to be reading that less than a day after the nuptials.

GOLD COAST Titan and NSW Origin player Greg Bird has been issued with an infringement notice for allegedly urinating on a police car in Byron Bay last night.

The incident happened a day after he was married in the North Coast town in a wedding ceremony attended by his Titans and Origin teammates.

Bird has been summons to meet Gold Coast CEO Graham Annesley this afternoon to explain his actions.

The NRL Integrity Unit has been informed of the incident and are awaiting further details.
Could have been worse for the NRL; Todd Carney could have been laying in the gutter.

More to the point it would have been worse for the ESL. I actually wish Carney well with the Catalans Dragons.

As much as he has stuffed up in the past with his stupidity; urinating in public, on people, jumping on car bonnets, drink driving, I can’t recall him beating up somebody (man or woman) or treating women badly. I don't condone what he has done but there are a lot worse things people do.

Yes, I have bagged Bird in this thread for a relatively minor incident but his (Bird’s) previous indiscretions far outweigh those of what Carney ever did.

If the Catalans Dragons win a premiership while Carney’s there I’ll be the first to congratulate him.
