MANLY have signed Great Britain front-rower Luke Burgess in a massive boost on the eve of the 2015 premiership season.
Desperate to replace experienced forwards Jason King (retired) and Anthony Watmough (Parramatta), the Sea Eagles have been in discussions with the South Sydney forward for several weeks.
The deal was signed off on this morning.
Both Manly and Souths will issue press releases later today to confirm the signing.
Burgess leaves the Rabbitohs just 12 months after his brother Sam quit to play English rugby union.
His brothers Tom and George remain at Redfern but their contracts are up at the end of this season.
