  • Top 4 Predictions For 2010

Parramatta- They have only become stronger since last year

    Tigpies- Scary back line

Titans - now with the bird flying around they have become even more potent

Sloths- with Sam and iron head Taylor they are going to cause havoc.

    What do you's think?

I'm not sure about the order, but I think -

Dragons - Wayne 'Super Coach' Bennett
Souths - Pretty aggressive forward pack
Storm - Slater, Inglis, Cronk, Smith
Eels - Will continue their performance off the backend of last year

        Melbourne-For obvious reasons
Souffs-People say their forward pack is too big,but it is very mobile and skillful aswell.
Parra- Reached their potential last year, and have some decent signings.
Tigers/Dragons- Tigers have a great backline(if Benji and Lote stay fit).Dragons because of Bennent, and they will be pissed at choking once again.

If the Roosters play to their potential, keep injuries low and Carney actually works at fullback, I think we should make the eight.. (because really.. it's not a bad roster - Carney, Minichiello, Perrett, Anasta, Pearce, Ryles, Myles, Warea-Hargreaves).

I'm not looking to win the premiereship this year.. I'm looking for a solid performance week in, week out from the team - so far, im convinced we'll get that.

As for the Cowboys, that's harder to say! If their forwards give JT enough room to do his thing, they can be very damaging, but with Mason now part of that forward pack, well who knows.

Sometimes the wheels can fall off good teams. Perhaps this happened last year to the Roosters. You are correct in saying they have a roster to get them into the 8.

Mason's recent learnings will be left in Coogee once he reunites with his ex-dogs' mates. It won't be long till they feel his influence (one way or another)

I think Saints look pretty dull this year and i don't think melb will be able to pull it off again.

I cant see anyone apart from Storm Eels Dogs winning it this year

Eels lack halves otherwise those 3 sides have the most balance on paper and good players in key positions

I expect the Dragons (lack a no7), Manly (lacking halves) and Brisbane to all finish 5-8 if they make it at all

Souths lack halves and a good fullback, great forward pack, decent 9 but that is not enough to challenge for a comp. There 1,6,7 will let them down otherwise with Asotasi, Ross, Burgess, Taylor and co they have a great pack

I expect us to be borderling top 8, either creep in or just miss out, On paper we are lacking in some areas

I think Souths still have another year or 2 of failure.
Too much unprofessinalism and stigma attached for it to disappear.
Could be wrong, but I hope not

parra and souffs myths, will finish bottom half of the 8 at best, storm, dragons, tigers and us, yes thats right us, alot has changed for the better at this place, the comps as wide open as madam fleiss, abit of luck and some game plan will see us go along way

You could be right, while they WILL be very strong in the forwards, it's up to their backline to finish the job, and they may not be able to pull that off.

Im really disappointed JWH is out, his aggression was going to be essential against Souths.

Part of me agrees, but I don't want to get ahead of myself, so i'm settling for top 8.
