Top 4 Predictions For 2010

Dogs will struggle big time, or at least I hope they do = 14th.
Eels start strong and make the 4 but not the GF = 2nd.
Saints will go well...till September as usual = 6th.
Storm will be strong, Bellamy is THE coach = Minor Premiers.
Broncos will make the 4 = 3rd.
Tigers will make top 4 = 4th.
Cronulla with a shit coach and crap roster not even we can save them from the spoon this year.
Souffs = 8th.
Cowboys = 5th.
Manly - 15th.
NZ = 12th.
Pemriff = 10th.
Roosters = 7th.
Newcastle = 13th.
Raiders = 9th.

What makes you say that? I really think this could be the year they miss the 8. No Hunt, no, Taylor, no Hodges for 6 months, they will rely a lot on an aging Darren Lockyer, who I believe is 2 years past his best.

I agree.The Broncos will really struggle this year.
Even their coach has conceded he has no front rowers and will be relying on the hope some juniors can step up into this position this season.

1) Dogs - another very good year in store, can win it

2) St George - as above

3) Manly - Orfords departure will be a blessing. Will surprise many

4) Melbourne - very hard to beat as usual

As for the rest....

5) Souths - Lang will be excellent for them, and Burgess will be regarded as just about the best forward in the comp by seasons end.

6) Parramatta - won't replicate last years run - top eight but not top 4

7) Titans - lots of wins at home but lacking up front

8) Tigers - surely due. Tuqiri a shadow of former (league) self



Penrith - a better season than usual, but just miss the 8

Knights - if they still have a team after court case will surprise and just miss 8.Would love Roosters to buy Chris Houston

Brisbane - by their own standards don't look strong

Cowboys - should Thurston get injured, they have close to nothing. Mason to have an ok year, but won't play any rep football

Canberra - always have good juniors coming through, but do lack one or 2 class players. Shillo has good year

Roosters - much to be hopeful about with Smith, but seriously lack penetration in the backs, and maybe mobility in the forwards. Attacking problems not helped by keeping Anasta at 5/8

Warriors - still look average

Cronulla - a very poor roster. Hope they go broke

My top 4 would be:

1. Canterbury Bulldogs
2. St George Illawarra Dragons
3. Melbourne Storm
4. Gold Coast Titans

Parramatta, Wests Tigers and Souths will be in and around the top 4 through the year but I think those 4 sides have the consistency to cement top 4 positions.

The only teams I am sure will perform consistantly will be the dogs and saints.

And two teams to be at the bottom - knights and warriors.

Everything in between is too hard to tell.
