its a good idea if the rules can be tweeked.

For example.

If a team takes the "power play" or the "4 point conversion" this replaces the kick off. if the attacking team is unsuccessful in scoring the 4 point conversion, then play is to continue.

I.e.

if the attacking team is tackled, then play continues and the ball is turned over.

if the defence intercepts the ball then play continues.

Basically it makes the stakes a little higher for taking the higher value points option, it will also cause the defence to really chance their arm and take on the attack.

the options in attack taken tonight for the 4 point conversion, especially by the NRL Allstars were a joke, the Parra wall was a JOKE !

Agreed,that would be much better.
