you know nothing whatsoever about his circumstances, and you want call him a mercenary and a mole?

you're a fool, as are the usual bunch of uptight haters who agree with your moronic views
I don't need to know anything about his circumstances. The bloke did the runner back to the Broncs from us because of homesickness, then gets offered good coin to switch to the dogs. He probably shouldn't have gone back to Sydney if he was a person that gets homesick.

As to the part about being a fool, I will leave that alone. I've seen a fair few of the posts you've made.

I wish I could switch being homesick on & off everytime a contract came up. If he is a person that gets homesick, he would have played his career out at the Broncs or Goldie.

Open your eyes you. What was it? Fool.

I was speaking to a friend of mine that knows a little of what is going on. It seems its blown a little out of proportion.
Apparently Hannant's wife is homesick, but Hannant has assured the Dogs he is playing this year, but wants to talk later about the last year of his contract.
If the Bulldogs let him go will probably not let him go off and sign for big bucks and probably will not be allowed to play in the NRL for his final year.

Its one thing to look after family, thats great, but there are certain responsibilites that are tied into a big $ contract. If it means that much to him and he is not a mercenary he will take the year off.

The DT is reporting he will play the year out, then get a release from the final year of his contract. The Dogs might take a player form the Broncs or Titans, as a player swap. Reporting Broncs are willing to offer big $.

I would be homesick as well.

I know that, but he really wanted to leave because he was homesick. It wasn't like we didn't offer good money.

Did we? I know Artie Beetson told the club not to keep him.

Some of you ****s on here have no respect for others Hannant also has a wife and young kids.I am sure his wife has some input into this as well. Funny though some on here all up in arms about this yet his club Canterbury are sympathetic to his predicament.

Perhaps, as he has said, he and his young family don't like living in the big smoke of Sydney and want to move back closer to his farmlife...

There is a lot to be said for this IMO..

What the fark is wrong with this...

I can understand his family being homesick and him wanting to return to Queensland.

The issue is that having realised he was not suited to Sydney life when playing for the Roosters, he still decided to return to Canterbury to chase a fatter wage.

He can't have his cake and eat it too.

                              what utter garbage

maybe he was willing to give Sydney another go when he signed for the dogs, and now his wife's pressuring him

regardless, how would you know at what point he, or his family, "realised" anything?

He "realised" he was not suited to Sydney life when he publicly stated homesickness as a reason for moving to Brisbane after a stint to the Roosters.

But then he decided to return to Sydney when a better offer came on the table from Canterbury.

His willingness to "give Sydney another go" smacks of selfishness and greed considering he and his family had confronted issues of homesickness before, why did he think it would be any better this time around?
