  • Just as I thought, the Titans are coming down to Sydney, according to todays paper, to talk to Hannant about $$$$$$.

Talking to friends up the Gold Coast, the buzz for over a month or so was that Bailey will probably retire at the end of the season, and Hannant to replace him.

So the homesick argument is all bullshit, its all about the $$$$$$$$$

I don't feel sorry for the Dogs but fans like you I do somewhat.
Thanks Cockadoodledoo ... good to see the rivalry is still there!!

I am probably more disappointed with the form of the team than anything. We were insipid against the Dragons. Although, we solved our goalkicking problems, Goodwin kicked 100%.

I would drive Hannant to the Gold Coast myself if it meant that our form recovers.

Ben Hannant will quite possibly be the first footballer to be boo'ed by both sets of supporters this sunday. Considering everything that has gone on in the NRL over the last few years, that is some accomplishment.

This is where it sucks, if he signs for more than his Dogs' money then he is taking a lend of all of us.

That's the problem with clauses in any contract especially a homesick one, I mean how do you validate it. Karma with catch up with him in the long run.

            Too right.

The difficulty for me is that, we, the supporters, are the ones that are tribal about our team. The ones who have good and bad days depending on the performance of our team. We're the ones who go through the emotions.

The players just go about their daily lives as if they are working in a bank.

            • So much for Big Ben's "homesickness", looks like those saying it was an excuse for him to be a greedy merc were 100% correct.

The greedy guts is trying to take a lend of everyone involved.......

He may come belly up this time though.....

Maybe his church has asked for more money from him.....

I used to admire Ben, but I find him nothing but a money hungry glutton at this point in time, and as someone already said....Karma will bite his big butt one day......
