But, an added "sweetner" perhaps when negotiating a deal to play for them!

    A few other points:

I guess the who ha, in and around the grand opening of their new stadium will be significantly affected......suck shit!

Waldron is a dog and i hope on behalf of Storms fans he is pursued by the Police for corporate fraud.

News’ chairman and chief executive John Hartigan expressed his disappointment and anger today, condemning those at the club that have admitted involvement.

“Today is a regrettable day in the history of the game,” he said.

“I don’t think there will be a league fan anywhere who is not outraged by what appears to be a highly orchestrated, deeply deceptive fraud
I thought deception was a key part of News' philosphy...or has that changed after Super League

I am now beginning to wonder about POS... genius or open-chequebook myth? He had better not have brought any Melbourne Storm practices to the Roosters.

The consipiracy theorist within is also wondering about the timing of this Newscorp NRL corruption coinciding with the wanting to create an independent commission.

Brisbane seemed to get away with it for over 10 years. Then all of a sudden just got rid of their playing roster

i dont understand how it is fair, for the rest of the year for teams to play melbourne (with an over the salary cap team), lose and not get points for it, doesnt make sense at all for melbourne to keep playing this year
theyre over the cap, unless slater, smith, inglis and cronk sit out the rest of the year or go to other clubs

and yeh was thinking about all the premiership tatts to haha

This has the awful stench of AwFuL about it. I hope this links all the way to Demetriou.

                              St.Kilda and ????

The current Storm CEO who was implicated was also at St. Kilda before the Storm.

They named the current CEO at the press conference as 1 of 2 very senior people at the club who knew and has now got the sack. I would love to know why they refused to name the other person?

Waldron also had Salary cap issues with St Kilda.
