  • Positives from Melbournes SHAME

1: Next year is open season for some quality recruiting. Punt Anasta and bring Finch home. Inglis and Slater should also be considered.

2: Tax Department will be looking hard at some blank spots on players tax returns. Bellamy will be jail bait whilst watching Gould regain Origin glory.

3: We are no longer 2009 spooners....nor shall we be 2010

    4: Melbourne suck

5: Rusty will be a bit shaky over the coming days as he tries to account as to why quality players voluntarily chose to play for a vermin hole

and hopefully Rugby League can give up on this hopeless attempt to win over Melbourne. Give it up. When crowds of 3,000 people are turning up to see Melbourne play for no competition points, Gallop et al might realise they shouldn't bother any more.

And this ought to fast track a side on the Central Coast.

Who knows? If Melbourne can f*ck up 2010 enough, they might be axed for CC in 2011.

    *crosses fingers*

          7) Any supporters who think the Roosters were "Clayton's Premiers" in 2002, will need to either re-think their position or forget about cheering their own team on in 2010.

Hope so. CC Bears for 2011.

Purely in business terms, they rely on the gate revenue from a remaining 10 home games this year. Their crowds will be way down, the business will be failing, and the license should be given to the Central Coast.

This failed experiment has gone on so long, hopefully this is the thing that finally puts an end to it.

And hopefully it highlights the need for News to piss off from RL. By the sound of it, this is linked to Cam Smith and third party payments with News. Third party payments are fine as long as the club does not arrange it. In this case, the Storm must have had a hand in the arrangement, making it cheating, and highlighting just how corrupt it is to have News controlling three NRL clubs and the NRL itself as well as having a stake in the two broadcasters. Essentially, a whole business centred around News shifting cash from its right pocket to its left pocket.

Therefore, this whole business should fast track the Independent Commission as well.

not a positive but rugby union will be licking lips. methinks a whole raft of players will suddenly become dissatisfied with the salary cap and seek out greener pastures.

also Finch will never leave Melbourne because after they cull 95% of the squad so that Cmeron Smith still retains current salary package Finchs $42.50 match fee will make him the second highest paid storm player

perhaps they will play a more entertaining style of footy rather than try to grind things out

.. afterall, they've got to attract/retain their fans
