  • good things to come from the melbourne disaster

    1. we are now rolled-gold guaranteed to go at least one better than last year.

    2. it actually means that we were without doubt the dominant team of the 2000's.

    any others?

Brisbane only won 1 premiership this decade.
2000 is the last year of the previous decade

Give me some of what you are on kingbilly..

The naughties started and includes 00 much like the nineties started at the yr 90. The broncs were the most dominate team with 2 comps.

Based on winning percentages we come 5th. That won't change because the storm are not stripped from their wins, same as the dogs in 02. So on winings percentages the broncs, dogs, storm and i think manly are above us on winning percentages in the naughties.

We were the dominating team in the first half of that decade. We destroyed that with our last 5 crap yr's.

the naughties can start whenever you want them to Rocky, but the 0 year (as in 1990, 2000, 2010) are the tenth and last year of the decade they are part of.

I do wish I was on something though

We get about $80k out of it. Their $1.1 million in prize money is being distributed amongst the other NRL clubs

Don't talk too soon. Take it with a grain of salt, but Dill Rothfield says a Sydney club is being looked at, and the auditors are ready to pounce.

No, they are only half a Sydney Club. Next best thing. Souths!

Doesn't have to be all bad. Get those Storm boys out there playing for some big bucks for Charity. God knows that club and the NRL could use some good publicity
