I'm liking Kent more and more.

Out of all the journo's he is coming across as the one with the most common sense.

He didn't say he wanted it gone.

        Re-read it.

My recollection of it was that it was Rothfield who wrote an article saying that Gould wanted the cap gone.

But Gould's words were "overhaul of the system" or something similar as opposed to getting rid of it.

Yet, he was still creaming his pants every time he called a Storm game!

the cap needs a serious overhaul, But Gould is wrong to start bringing that up now. Melbourne cheated, end of story, and complaining about the cap now doesn't diminish that fact.

If there wasn't a binding TV rights agreement that stipulates 8 matches a week, Melbourne would be gone. I still think there's a good chance they'll fold

His argument as to how you can either spend money and rort the cap or be like Cronulla is flawed, because if no one rorted the cap, Cronulla would be more able to compete

                  Gould needs to shut up.

Every Friday night and Sunday afternoon he does nothing but bag the game.

"The referees are terrible", "The rules are terrible".

He needs to understand that part of his job as a commentator is to promote the game and to think for a second that some people watching might be curious as to what league is and have tuned in to see if it's worth following and his comments might be enough to put them off becoming a supporter.

Yeah, agree he is pretty good.

I'm liking Mark Geyer as a panelist. He tells it like it is and really gave it to melbourne even though his brother was involved.

                            Mark Geyer is great.

Not too strong on the intellectual front, however his passion for the game is unrivalled. He doesn't come across as agenda-driven, which is great.

Gould likes to come across as a know-it-all, but he is in fact an imbecile...

He is just following his own agenda and trying to blame this whole thing on the NRL and Gallop.

He wants to exonerate the players and player managers...

                              This is my possible scenario:

Storm Mgt - Yes Mr Brendan Funch we would like to see you at the Storm but we have salary cap restraints..How about we pay you $80K on the books and we give you a further $60K cash..

Mr Funch then has a discussion with his player manager/agent, and then they agree to these terms..

Everyone involved knows about the rort..

Players and player agents are going to go down hard...
