My two cents worth...
Gus loves Rugby League passionately, and knows more about it than anyone
who is currently involved in any way.
Yes...he over-reacted towards Gallop, but since it will take a long time to
get to the bottom of Stormgate nobody can really be sure who knew what and who has been protecting whom.
I'm sure I couldn't speak calmly either if I came face to face with Gallop or any Melbourne official, but I have no public profile to uphold.

Exactly, it was a case of the 3 Stooges with Gould, Vaughtin and Voss running the show. None of them had anything of relevance to contribute - just the usual administration bashing.

Hey Gus, the storm CHEATED !!! every other team has had to shed stars .. eg. Fletcher, Solamona, Sing, Cusack, Cayless, Cross, and remember Mullins, we wanted him to back up after 2002 but we couldn't even pay him match fees (due to the cap). the Storm should be banned for 5 yrs for what they did, but Gould is crying because they are playing for 0 pints this year. Gallop is the fool,he reads from his news ltd script when ever something is debated,the telecrap puts a positive spin on his leadership,under which melbourne's rorting has prospered.The NRL is floundering under Gallop and Gould is the only one brave enough to come out and say it.You are a fool if you want Melborne banned for 5 years.If his arguments are so ridiculous why would the owner of JAYCAR a Bulldogs sponsor no less take out 25,000 dollar add in a news ltd paper to back up what Gus is saying.Opinions are like arseholes!Gallop is a news ltd puppet and when the game gets an independent commission the better it will be.

Gould gets paid by 9 to act like he does,as does Rothfield the shire drunk.To say Gould is a puppet is absurd,his employer does not own the NRL,whereas Gallop who even talks like a farking thunderbird is a news puppet.Gallop has his mate Rothfield spruiking his leadership,not to mention the rest of the tellucrap.Gould on the other hand has the tellucrap on his back 7 days a week, people are like sheep,the tabloid exploits it's platform and converts the masses,the jay car thing was a brilliant marketing idea,however it was not purely an add,it had a double edged sword,if it was purely an add it would have been accompanied by little pictures of crappy chinese electrical gadgets that brain imported from china .Gould does sound silly at times,but everyone becomes a little self indulgent now & then.I'm farking glad he loves this joint,and his input is always welcome as far as i'm concerned.
