It's not all beer and skittles at the Storm despite the PR campaign at the moment. It appears they have turned their guns on each other."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

I expect that if we sign a decent half back, then Kimmorley will finish up this year. We should have a fair bit available under the cap once it's freed up. As far as actual cash, the club is in pretty good shape.
The Roosters and the Dogs are probably the most active clubs in the market at the moment. Although, we're chasing different players.
In general though, things are pretty tight with the clubs, hence you will hear more about Melbourne players shortly as some will move because they can rather than leave it too late and run the risk of being forced out when there is no money left and they have to go to England.
We won't get Lima, besides he reneged on a deal last time, hence the now infamous "Plan B". Just said I would have preferred Lima, Sika Manu has been named in the papers so there is no surprise there and he would be a good get. We're a little soft in the forwards. We're probably another prop, a backrower and half back short.

We had a crack at Vidot but he re-signed with the Raiders. Dugan isn't off contract til 2011, so he is off limits without Raider's approval ...Besides, Barba or Turner will replace Patten when it's time.

Barba would make a good FB. Extra playmaker, lighter load in defence, that x factor, the modern day FB really is a different beast.

It's why Carney was so effective in the early rounds and why Anasta seems to have lost his way.
