For the right amount of money I'd take him back for sure. Although if he left us for money I doubt he's going to come back for less.

Toups is on massive money at the Sharkies would be surprised to see him walk away from that, no club would go close to matching his current contract.

He has been rubbish this season, but I would bring him back in a heartbeat to be honest.

Ricky Stuart has tried to turn him into a tackler, a bit like his 2006 with us.

                      2004 - 24 games, 3 tries, 6 linebreaks, 4 linebreak assists, 3 try assists, 46 offloads, 46 tackle breaks, average 8 runs for 84 metres, average 18 tackles

                      2005 - 22 games, 2 tries, 2 linebreaks, 9 linebreak assists, 4 try assists, 48 offloads, 26 tackle breaks, average 9 runs for 75 metres, average 22 tackles

                      2006 - 21 games, 4 tries, 9 linebreaks, 5 linebreak assists, 3 try assists, 61 offloads, 56 tackle breaks, average 8 runs for 70 metres, average 26 tackles

                      2007 - 22 games, 4 tries, 4 linebreaks, 5 linebreak assists, 2 try assists, 60 offloads, 50 tackle breaks, average 9 runs for 73 metres, average 22 tackles

                      2008 - 22 games, 6 tries, 9 linebreaks, 6 linebreak assists, 3 try assists, 61 offloads, 65 tackle breaks, average 10 runs for 81 metres, average 25 tackles

                      And then at Sharks:

                      2009 - 21 games, 6 tries, 11 linebreaks, 2 linebreak assists, 3 try assists, 57 offloads, 57 tackle breaks, average 10 runs for 82 metres, average 27 tackles

                      2010 - 10 games, 1 tries, 2 linebreaks, 1 linebreak assists, 0 try assists, 20 offloads, 13 tackle breaks, average 8 runs for 56 metres, average 26 tackles

This season for Tupou has been rubbish IMO. He shouldn't be being used as a 25+ tackle man, Tupou is suited to a low 20's/late teens tackle man who is given the freedom to roam on the fringes, Ricky Stuart seems to not be letting him do that this season.

                      Come home Toops!

I loved watching Anthony Tupou for the Roosters. His ball skills and running was amazing and it was great to watch.

Picking him up for next season would be a bit of a waste though considering we have Symonds and Cherrington coming through as wide running ball players. They haven't acheived anything like Tupou has in his career, but if you aren't going to give the guys you develop for these roles a shot then whats the point.

Anthony Tupou Career Highlight for the Roosters - Putting Mini in for a try against the Bulldogs in the GF.

Anthony Tupou Career Lowlight for the Roosters - Standing by watching Anasta get belted by Falongo.

when he was at the roosters he was easily the best offloader in the game, used to creat so many opportunites for us.

                              come home toups!!
