  • Dragons prop Jon Green un-contracted for 2011

HE'S been one of the surprise packets of 2010, but Dragons prop Jon Green still isn't sure if he has an NRL club next year. The Perth junior is waiting for St George Illawarra to take up an option on him for 2011.

    Worth a shot??

On a side issue, if he ever came up to SoO level, which state would he play for being a Perth junior?

He looks average in a performing Dragons pack. Also can't control his weight. Your average NSW cup player.

He'd be in the same side as Corey Patterson...

Meh, not sure he'd reach any great heights at our club. Would rather invest time in Martin Kennedy who seems like a pretty similar player.

            Great idea..

Sign a nuffy just because he is playing his small role in the best team in the comp...

Charlie Tonga robbed us this way also...

Even if you'd want him.........which you wouldn't, we can't afford him.

                    The Dogs.

I reckon you always need to be careful judging form of lesser lights at good clubs. I cite Ned Catic as a classic example.

The good coaches at the performing clubs will get very average players to play a good role. This does not mean that they can then come into another club and take a larger role.

Apparently the Panthers have pulled their offer for Michael Gordon because they're going after Inglis hard!
He could be a good buy if we could pick him up cheap!

not worth it if he's asking for anything more than 150k

average player made to look good in a well-drilled pack
