Just pointing out that the Roosters don't have alot in terms of Junior Development, and that they sign most of their players from different areas. So again, how many of our Roosters players are legit Juniors from the Bondi area, an how many are from other regions?

Be proud of this fact. People want to play for the Roosters and are willing to come from anywhere. We don't need juniors. From what I've read, the Roosters pride themselves in the mid 90's of having a strategy where they buy the best players from the worst clubs. Power to us I say

yes that was more the point i was making. imo if you debut for a club or even come to a club with only a handful of games under your belt then there is definitely cause to suggest that your club has had a hand in their development. The silly thing is that a lot of our current squad thathave debuted for us actually did start out at much lower levels. Throw in the fact that myles and JWH were recruited at fairly young ages albeit with evident ability, they will also both play their best footy with our club and spend by far the majority of their careers at the club if they stay which would almost allow one to suggest that although already talented players, our club did have a hand in their development. Buying them young and bringing them through is the key to success for a club like ours and is as bred as we will ever be. The fact that the likes of cherro and symonds as well as tamou and towers are actually local juniors is amazing enough considering they are all extremely good NRL players and they come from our nursery as small as it is

Minichiello, Perrett, SKD, Linnett, Pearce, M Aubusson, Cherrington, Jones, Guerra, Paea, Nuuausala, Brunton, Friend, Fepuleai, Symonds, Kennedy, Masoe, Leilua, Takairangi, Baitieri have all made their first grade debuts at Roosters.

Conn, Kouparitsas, J Aubusson, Hargreaves played very few games for other clubs before they came to us. Ryles, Myles, Graham and Anasta are the only regular first graders from other clubs that we have in our ranks this year.
