There is definitely a premeditated element about this, especially considering Johns is supposed to have been a serial offender.

The follow up video could only be construed as "fuel on the fire". Tahu would have realised that this has the potential to ruin Johns' media career and still went through it.

Johns was in the wrong, as it is he has had too many chances already. Tahu is right for taking a stance. However, Tahu could have made his point and Johns could have been disciplined without the ongoing headlines. Unless, of course this has already happened and Johns hasn't taken notice. Which we will never know.

As you suggest, the script is a well used one from the Mundine camp. Establish an offence then walk out with the media in tow.
