Was reading on a dragons forum a post from some nuffie claiming we are about to sign Ferguson and Tupou.

I've never heard any rumours about Tupou. Good player, but a bit of a douche, and I can't imagine he'd want to come back for what we'd be prepared to pay him.

Anyone heard anything?

We are well served in the forwards - at the moment Guerra and Symonds are battling for spots, so we have good depth.

LOVED watching Tupou on his day. The try he setup in the 2004 GF for Mini was awesome. A memory that will always be with me (I have blocked the rest out of that GF)!

In saying that, we have moved on and now have other forwards with what he offered (FPN, Cherrington, in the future BJ) plus we now have Anasta as a ball player in the back row.

Thanks for the memories Tupou. But the Roosters have moved on.

there is no way he would leave the Sharks his current contract is massive and was signed when he was an Aussie/NSW forward, he does have a get out clause if Stuart left but no club would pay anywhere near the money he is getting now.

i probably wouldn't take Toops back despite loving him as a player a few years ago, left because of money.. would take an unnecessary chunk out of our current cap
