In other words, thank them for their patronage but in order to continue supporting the club they need to drop off as an official club sponsor and channel their funds towards a player/s. In return of good will the player/s may elect to turn up to the organisations social days etc...

Packer doesn't put a cent into the club.

Wasn't aware of that. I thought he was one of our biggest supporters.

I would doubt he even gave a toss about the club.

He grew up following the Roosters with his best mate Gyngell.
Also served as a football club director for several years and eventually stepped aside because he found it difficult to attend monthly meetings.
James is very much a Roosters boy!

I am aware of that but in the greater scheme of things he didn't come across as passionate about the club.. I knew he rarely attended meetings.. Contrast that to Kerry who looked after Manly very well.. The irony being that Kerry was a Souths fan to begin with but only went to Manly after Ron Jones didn't want Kerry to tip in his money to the Roosters.
