Okay, the results we need as of tonight:

Dragons to beat Knights

This will rule out the Knights from making a run in the finals. Rubbish team, but Uate seems to have that x-factor and he can tear us apart. Dragons need to put these outside threats to rest.

Cowboys to beat Canberra

Unlikely, but this will stop Canberra from catching up to us and potentially passing us, and will mean that it will be a three way fight between Souths, Brisbane and Canberra for the 8th spot.

After these are hopefully settled:

Storm to beat Tigers

Bulldogs to beat Panthers

Sharks to beat Titans

Roosters to beat Manly

...these are the results we need this weekend. If this happens, Roosters can only finish as high as 4th (and we would have to win more than 16 to do that).

This would leave us in a good position in the final round. Titans and Tigers will duke it out for second place when they play each other. We would want Sharks to beat Penrith, and Parramatta to beat Warriors, along with us beating the Cowboys. This happens, and we finish at a comfortable 4th spot.

So to summarize:

Roosters must win their next two games
Panthers, Manly, and one of Tigers/Titans to lose their next two games.
Cowboys and Dragons to win this week.

Just because the sharks beat us doesn't mean the are ready to beat the titans and panthers. So wishful thinking I think

That game in NZ a few months ago was ours. Had it not been for that try that was give as 'Benefit of the Home Team' AND the misshap in the last minute, we would have won it as we had every opportunity to do so. I only fear the saints but not because they are better than us but because they have the edge over us in the last few years.
