  • Another Ref Blunder Manly vs Dogs

can't believe that Matai wasn't sent off after the cheap shot on Ennis today, no doubt a cop out from Harrigan in the video ref box, also allowed a very dubious Manly try when a blatant knock was let go.

this is a perfect example why Harrigan should not be let anywhere near the referee's bosses job.

Why would you want a player sent off? Most fans reckon todays game is too soft. Too refereed. Promoting send offs would just give an added ostrogen shot to RL.

Harrigan was horrible again, LOL@"Initial Contact" bullshit.....and a blatant knock on for the Lyon try indeed, how the **** was that ruled backwards!?

Yet ofcourse nothing will be said about it as it wasn't Easts receiving the favourable calls, **** the pink pricks.

there are rare exceptions when there still needs to be send off's, today was one of them, Matai hit a player without the ball and with his back turned with a blatant swinging arm, it was a dog act and he is likely to be charged with a high grade intentional high tackle.

I want players sent off that deserve to be sent off.
Even maybe 10mins for high shots, illegal tackls, not just a professional fouls

There is no doubt in my mind that Matai should have been sent off. Even if Manly make it deep into the finals which i highly doubt will happen, Matai won't play again this year and will most likey miss a few weeks at the start of next season.

You just know, the PinkBats will cost someone the premiership in 2010.

It looked clear cut to me... there firstly was no need at ALL to tackle Ennis as it was at least 2 whole seconds late, and to make it worse a swinging arm to the head? or did I see it wrong?

definitely a send off, no question about it - hit him with a swinging arm flush on the jaw t

you saw it right geo it was a swinging arm min 4 weeks imo and it can't be careless because it was like 2 sec after ennis had pasted the ball ... He also has carry over points so 5 weeks imo..

also stewart got less time because anasta was able to play on.... Ennis came off for 20 min before the penalty was even blown.

Matai is a ****ing dog with form. Most games he gets someone with a cheap shot.

I think a couple of years ago in a Aust v Nz test, where he did a similar thing to Gaznier?

I'd say minimun 4 weeks for the cheap shot on Ennis.

don't think ive seen anything worse and more intentional than that dog act this year.. given it was the mennis, but that was terrible

Matai very lucky to get only 7 weeks, charged with a grade 3 reckless, if there was ever an intentional high tackle that was it, the NRL should have made an example of him should have got around 12 weeks.

King also likely to miss 1 week

Bailey charged but free to play.
