Campese, while not the best 5/8 in the game is crucial to the raiders. He gives them structure and runs the show. As others have said he is doesn't get injuryed the Raiders win.

Hell, Fittler was not a consistently great kicker or passer. The only things he did consistently were never missing a tackle and guiding the team.

I don't think any team would take their best player off to leave their team with only 12 men with 5 mins to go and only 1 point up. He was definitely injured but they said it was a bruise rather than a strain which is why it healed so quickly.
