the benji love last night made me wanna vomit. one of the greatest players rabs has ever seen? got to be kidding! farrah is a whinger, tiquiri a mongrel and beau ryan is lucky he's secured a tv gig. i'm shocked the tigers have gotten this far, always seeming to scrape through somehow. maybe thats what good teams do, i dunno, they seem a long way from a streamlined grand final winning team we've seen in the past.

as for campo, another year or so and he will guide those boys to a gf. the thing about canberra imo is they are a great team. they lost confidence without him last night, but every player has a part and they all get in and do it. there doesnt seem to be the egos or superstars, they are just a bunch of guys playing footy, campo seems a decent down to earth guy who might not be the best in the game but he has certainly shown improvement and will continue to do so. then maybe he can take over from lockyer, but there is a few in line before him!

Tigers have really moved up on the 'most-hated' list in 2010 which makes me so happy we've beaten them four times this year.

Benji has always been a princess. And Ryan should do a segment called 'Beau Knows Jack Shit about Rugby League'. Ashyford (sp?) cries every time he gets tackled and Farah is a whinger with zero personality or people skills. On top of that, their fans may well be the biggest bandwagoners in the game. I'm pretty sure 90% of Tigers fans at the SFS last week bought their jerseys from the vendor outside the stadium.

In saying that though, Dragons v Tigers is a hard one. It's a case of who do I hate more?

I'm also hating the Tigers but I really do think Benji is a very special player. However, did any of you guys see the look on his face when he was being interviewed after the game. The mascot came up an put its arms around him. You could see how pissed off Benji was. I think he would have exploded if the cameras were not on him. I think he needs to check that big ego. No doubt the bloke can play though. I still would not swap Carnage for anyone though. I really think he is the man to fill the void left by the great Brad Fittler.

There is a Tigers clown that honestly believes the 2005 Tigers were as good as the 1994 Raiders side. Then there is other guy who honestly believes Saints supporters are more passionate than any other supporters.

I have so much hate for both teams but I will love nothing more than a Roosters vs Saints grand final. Bennett vs Smith, last year's minor premiers vs wooden spooners, most boring team in the comp vs the most attacking team i the comp, carney redemption, saints chokers, etc.

Yep i hate the ****ing tigers aswell, they always get the good end of the stick with the referees, marshall is a ****ing show pony that performs like twice a year, farah is a half wit aswell.

gus and rabs jizz everyrime marshy touches the ball aswell.
Is it just me or do the tigers never seem to lose the penalty count?

only last week against us and boy did we hear about how they were 'robbed' in the media.

i hate st george with a passion. not necessarily because they are st george but because imo they are a bunch of pretenders. i cant fathom how a team with a fullback who has scored a grand total of maybe 3 tries over the last 2 seasons seems to get the sorts of raps he does - as far as im concerned the dragons have boyd playing left side 5/8 and jamie right side 5/8. boyds support play is non-existent and although he is consistent, has laid on some beautiful tries and is safe at the back and good on kick returns, i think like hayne and dugan (although obiously not in that class), he lacks the instinct, nouse, right place right time and support play of the truly brilliant fullbacks like mini, slater and i believe what coote and even maybe gardner will become.

Then their halves. A halfback who has played every position on the field including waterboy - jack of all trades master of none. and a 5/8 who thinks he can mix it with the big boys, defends on the wing and goes missing in big games. And dont forget their lock-come-hooker young.

Then their playing style. There is playing a high percentage, low error/penalty game in the melbourne mold and there is plain boring - st george. you see sides like the titans, melbourne, manly etc play and played that consistent grinding sort of game but once in attacking positions, have the brilliance to pile points on. st george literally do not have an attack. they have one play - hornby recieves it and either goes short to creagh or out the back to boyd. thats it. they score most of their points right at the very end once the opposition has already given up/game is gone. the thing is that once the finals are in town, teams like us dont go away and will keep peppering you so simply trying to grind the opposition out of the game becomes a lot harder so i think even practically they dont have the ability to win.

then there is bennett. dont get me wrong, very successful coach etc but imo, the reason he has one so many comps is because with sides like brisbane where you have players like lockyear, hodges, petro, webcke etc, as coach all you need is a simple game plan, a couple of backline moves and a 'give lockyear the ball' catch cry and the rest is done for you. with the dragons, they dont have a go to man like lockyear which is maybe why they fail to really put sides away and really really struggle when they go behind so i wouldnt read too much into the bennett 'aura'. its a load of crap imo. good simple coach who knows how to get the best out of his team but without the lockyears and co i dont think he or anyone else can deliver a team a comp. premierships aside i dont think smith is a worse coach than him by any stretch anyway and he is proving that with our team this year.

then the fans. the most arrogant, myopic, biased and unreasonable bunch out. no matter what sort of constructive argument you mount about performances/how they are travelling, the 'look at the table' or 'we beat you guys' or 'benny will save us' seems to be all they have in reply.

all in all, if they dont win this year (which i can see being possible), with the troops and depth they are losing next year and the rise of young teams like canberra, us, penrith and even teams like newcastle, they are gone......

The premiers will come from our side of the draw. whether it be the titans, us or penrith remains to be seen. all i can say is that i wrote us off for the comp even a couple of weeks ago because of inexperience in particular. last week we saw a bunch of players keep turning up for each other till the final siren stealing it in the end. it is these sorts of things that generally see inexperienced sides falter but not ours. the guts, determination and grit under pressure is admirable. i give us a chance. a long chance but a chance. whether it be this year or not, we all know that with the roster and young talent we have coming through, a dynasty awaits us of melbourne storm proportions (hopefully minus the rorting). GO EASTS

They lost the penalty count last night, but they have won as many penalty counts as any other side this year - 15 wins, 2 draws, 9 losses. Souths are the only other club to have won as many penalty counts.

They get a very, very good deal from the refs.

There is no way he could play tonight with a dodgy knee. There was not even any straping on it.

He left his team-mates in the lurch against us last week. The whole thing is suss to me. They had footage of him in the news, he was moving and side-steping, no way this was possible after he was in 'complete agony' on the sideline 4 days earlier

Being one of the faces of the NRL, made people feel sorry for him

One of the first things we were taught as kids, everyone plays together, and plays for one another. You don't let your team-mates down.

The amazing recovery of the knee injury to Benji?

                      Benji is a fraud

                      And Farrah just shits me

                      i have to agree there

nobody with a bad knee would even run straight with that type of injury

It's obvious Benji Marshall never had any injury last week. He tanked, plain and simple.

The following is an attempt at irony.

I cannot believe that a coach like Tim Sheens would play games like having Benji Marshall fake an injury.
