It's ironic is'nt it that when Newtown got the boot from the comp, their area was divvied up between Souths and Bulldogs.

The Roosters lost a large part of their area back in the 30's, and when they split the Newtown area Roosters get nothing.

We have the smallest geographic and demographic share the of the Sydney market.

I hope the new commission does something about it.

            Central Coast without a doubt.
Although, against my general thoughts and meeting the people involved in Ipswich, an Ipswich team might not be too bad either

                Perth + Central Coast 2013
                PNG + SE QLD 2017
Sharks should move to Adelaide. Otherwise forget Adelaide, not big or important enough
                for a completely new team.
A second Kiwi team at some point.

21 teams. All over Australia + NZ and PNG.

western brisbane, central qld coast, central/northern nsw coast

then later, perth, adelaide, wellington then Cairns with a FNQ/NT/PNG catchment

PNG, it just makes the most sense imo. Money wise and player wise.

I already believe the player pool in the NRL has been diluted due to other codes and the ESL so setting up a team who can tap into a new junior system (of which there are currently 250k registered players) to me sounds like the sensible idea.

They already have massive backing from the government & sponsors they'd be my next vote with 1 other a QLD side or Central Coast side making it an 18 team comp.

I don't want any new teams in the competition unless it involves relocation of existing clubs. The talent pool is spread more thinly then vegemite at an orphange and the introduction of new clubs will only make that worse in my opinion.

I think this would be the next logical team from SE QLD. I know there's a push for Sunshine Coast and even Rockhampton but out West-South-West is the big heartland of Brisbane's league support.

But for mine in general, it's got to be the Central Coast next.
