Don't just concentrate on Finch, that Farkwit Harrigan needs to get the punt as well.
He made up his own rules as he went along week after week. What was a try one week in his rule book, was a no-try the next week, depending on the team and their opposition. And as the video ref, he gets the final say.
And his performance in this year's GF was no more than a kiss up to the Drag Queens for his involvement in their GF loss in 1999. It may have taken him 11 years to do it, but he made his peace with the Drag Queens in the end, at our expense.
Given the opportunity, Harrigan will do more damage to the refereeing standards than Finch ever has. Which is a scary thought.

I'm dropping by for dinner with Robert next week. We can discuss the season. Then we can go outside and discuss the finer points of rugby league. Maybe run some plays from the old play book. Robert would like that.

Sounds like you are going to drop him a binga or two and get him to cut his own face off with the shards of a broken mirror

THE Tigers have been taking the proper channels to ask about the knee Lote Tuqiri copped from Jeremy Smith – especially since the matter made the charge sheet but wasn’t penalised. Word from the NRL is the mention on the charge sheet was a slap for Robert Finch from Greg McCallum, who was making the point he thought the refs got it wrong on the field. McCallum also craves the job which Finch has been tipped to walk away from. He will have to beat Bill Harrigan to it, though. If Harrigan is going to lead the refs he will have to ditch the Lowes commercials and any other activities for which he can be ridiculed.

At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.

Maybe Hollywood Bill should stick with what he does best, keep the Lowes ads and give the video reffing away. An Lowes might be able to use Archer as a store dummy.
