    Nice work!
Just a question, what constitutes a "rookie"? Isn't it first year in first grade? Or first full year? Good on JWH in any case.

Never understand how they weigh up players in different competitions in different parts of the world, to come up with a winner ??

I note that Pat Richards from Wigan has been nominated as the International Player of the year. I don't watch any English Super League, but is this serious? He was a good winger at best in Oz, I can't see (1) how he would've improved to the point of being nominated as the international player of the year or (2) how ANY winger can be nominated as the International Player of the year!

On closer inspection, the biggest joke has to be Mal Meninga nominated as the coach of the year. He is a figurehead at best....besides, I reckon even Freddy could coach that QLD side to a 3-0 victory!

Itr would come down to number of games played in a year.

Not sure of the actual figure, but if you play 2 - 3 games one year and a full season the next, your rookie season is the one where you played the full season.

It is similar to the Rookie of the year for the NRL.

                        Well deserved on both counts

Still surprised that Carney missed out on the Jack Gibson Medal.

Congrats Todd on being voted the International Player of the Year as well as International Five-Eighth of the year.
We hope this inspires you to bigger and better things at the Roosters & eventually wearing the Australian #6 jersey once Lockyer retires.

They must be friends of Finch to give Archer the award, he's a shocker.

                              Congratulations to Todd, well done
