I can not begin to express just how fantastic that news is!!! I hate R. Finch with a passion for how he has screwed the Roosters over this year. I seriously hope that Fulton's cement truck runs Finch over as a thankyou for all the service he gave as ref's boss. Maybe now the Roosters can start to win some penalty counts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The screwing over of the Roosters in the GF was the icing on his cake.
He has truly had a huge hand in dragging the std of refereeing to an all new low.
Hand in hand with Ch9 they have almost done as much damage as super league

Try and be serious and you will look stupid

NRL chief executive David Gallop praised Finch's influence during his time in the role, which included the switch to full-time professionalism for officials and the introduction of the two-referee system.

"Being in charge of referees is a thankless task at times but anyone who looks back at Robert's contribution to refereeing can't fail to acknowledge the positive changes that he has driven in the game," Gallop said.

"Finchy's passion for the game and his experience in so many areas helped him drive the level of professionalism in refereeing to a new level and he is to be congratulated on that achievement."

Since we punted that cock-head son of his, we have been hammered by the refs.

His final curtain call was the grand final.

Getting his old team over the line, and doing the final screw job against us.

          His job was successfully completed.

Bring on McCallum, for a fair go.

And finally, fark-wit Finch, fark you.

Here's hoping those challenges are in rugby union or afl or pig raping, anything but League.

                Chook.
I always knew he was challenged.

Hopefully the start of a new dawn at NRL headquarters.

A competent referees coach (which rules out Hollywood Harrigan) and the independent commission up and running before the end of the year would be a good start.

Getting rid of all the old dinasours who have been bleeding the game dry for would also be a bonus. Get some real professionals on board.
