So this is why they call him Moana's...who would have expected an actual dog though to moan with.

There goes his Richie Cunningham image. I will never look at richie the same way. Fonzie's dog Spunky better run for cover...

          Don't laugh, it's possible.

Another life wrecked by drunk blokes egging each other on until something really stupid happens.

Bestiality is not illegal in the ACT but the RSPCA has described the photo as "sickening and disgusting" and has reportedly written a letter to ACT Chief Minister Jon Stanhope demanding similar acts be outlawed in the future.

There is no mention of bestiality in the ACT Crimes Act but in the NSW Crimes Act those who commit an act of bestiality with any animal are liable to imprisonment for 14 years.

                    http://www.smh.com.au/technology/tec...ml?autostart=1

"The man behind the leak on Twitter yesterday of an embarrassing photograph of Canberra Raiders star Joel Monaghan says he was surprised at how quickly his tweet spread around the country but the act was necessary to highlight the issue of animal cruelty."

Got to love these self appointed judges and jurys. Yes it was a sick act but who is he to spread the picture and possibly ruin another person's life and/or career?

With respect BigMike, I reckon that view is a little simplistic.

Looking at the photo, it didn't look like this was related to sexual gratification.

He deserves what he gets but this sort of shit doesn't happen without a bunch of pissed blokes around him egging him on. We have all seen variations on this theme. The collective IQ of a bunch of drunk blokes is generally exponentially lower than the sum of its parts.

                          *facepalm*

It's impossible to defend Monaghan. No blame/attention should be focused on anyone else.

yes the act is disgusting and all.. but is it really animal cruelty?
isn't animal cruelty defined as any act that results in harm or discomfort to animals?

the bitch looks like she's enjoying it

Agree mate. It is a ****ing disgrace but animal cruelty? I don't think so. The dog was not harmed. More like human cruelty. What a goose. There is no ending to the dumbness of these footballers.
