That's a fair comparison. GI is the rugby league LBJ.
LBJ is THE BEST player in basketball(can be argued that he shares the role with Kobe), over 7 years. On a weak team, i might add.

Inglis is not the LBJ of rugby league

Crowe's comparison had more to do with the broad US audience and their lack of knowledge of our game.

I am sure the US audience was just rivetted.

there may be no-one who's can be perfectly compared with Le Bron

but all in all it's a pretty fair comparison

Terrible comparison. Maybe because they both weigh the same, Bron muscle mass, Inglis fat.

              Agreed.

He is a superstar. So is Lebron.

It's like when people ask which supermodel you prefer. When it get's to that level to take what you can get! If it had of been Folau or Thurston he would have used the same comparison. They are all superstars.

And no one can tell me that Inglis has signed with the Vermin for the right reasons. There is no right reason to sign for the Vermin, just plenty of wrong ones, usually involving money.

hangon im not trying to suggest that because you are older you are justified to not try for your club, all im saying is that at least in the case of mason, the bloke was in the twighlight of his career and probably treated coming to us like others treat going to the UK at the end of their careers. GI's career is barely beginning so to be displaying an attitude comparable to those with 5+ years on him is a joke imo. Its almost as pathetic as 3 season folau who decided he was after a new challenge having only just cracked 20. These guys should be getting better/coming into their prime not looking for a pension and getting on the maccas. compare any of those players you would now deem lazy like mason at his age. in masons case he too pretty much had a premiership under his belt, had won origins and played for australia but i dont recall his on field performances going seriously backwards until around the time he came to us for the money. no excuse for how he performed with us but its hardly a surprise.

That's a direct quote from Gallop.

Nice to have Melbourne on the right side of a contract controversy for a change.

They wouldn't lose a minutes sleep over that.

It is like an impotent man saying he wants to fuuck you.

By the time the season starts, he'll be bigger than Fat Bastard from Austin Powers.

Probably from all the extra cash Crowe stuffed into his hip pocket!
