Amused, I think so.
Its very funny to see Souffs fans and management try and justify signing Inglis legitimately considering the past comments regarding "no money left" and "no cheque book RL".
While I can understand the excitement that Souffs supporters will have with Inglis' signing, if I was a souffs fan I would be extremely worried and probably embarrassed with the things my club is saying.

On paper great signing, in reality he will be a dud, anyone with an attitude like his will always be a dud, "has to do whats best for him" please, the pratt cant even cover the cost of his legal bills, even after factoring in the the gifts and over the top payments he received.Originally posted by guru View Post

First it was the established players who we had brought through the club that we couldn't afford to re-sign (Shillington & Tupou) the type of blokes who make a club. Then we couldn't afford to re-sign Monaghan who was just starting to peak at the club and desperately wanted to stay. Then it was a promising youngster in James Tamou who we couldn't match the dollars with even if we wanted to.
A big name signing on a back ended contract might be good for short term success but in the long term you'll effectively be playing with a team well under the salary cap and lose plenty of promising players.Comment
