Did the "best team in 2004" win the 2nd half 26-0 and still lose?

      Must have missed that.

without doubt the 2003 and 2004 GF results had nothing to do with refereeing.
It was all do to with poor leadership on the field and in the coaches box.

I de-friended all Merge supporters from Facebook and thankfully, being in BNE now, don't know any in real life.

Hey Stimpy, I'll think you'll find there's nearly as many Dragons fans in Brisbane/Goldie as Bronco/Titans fans. Go to either venue to watch the Dragons....you'll see.

As far as your "you've only won one premiership" stinging barb of blinding genius can I just say....how original. Why are you so late up on a school night anyway? 8.03pm must be way past nigh nighs and a bedtime story.

Here's another example of a decision that went against the Dragons which could have been a defining moment. Two balls on the field (both in the in-goal)....should have been a no try on that fact alone, let alone the knock on.

Ha! A ploy from a Saints ball boy to try and have a perfectly legitimate try disallowed....good thinking that one, in future he needs to make sure the ball is a bit closer to the play!

i never said there were not any dragon's fans here - i just don't know any of them - any why would i want to. and your assertion is rubbish. this place is a broncos town. there are a few supporters of the odd sydney club but by far, it's probably two-orders-of-magnitude broncos.

look at who's carrying on about original barbs - someone trying the 'little boy past your bedtime' gibberish.

still, doesn't alter the fact you've only got one premiership.

All that shows is that Tough Beau Scott should have given us an 8 point try for striking at the ball with his foot.

There is no way that the try should have been disallowed for that reason.

Yet dirty Jermy Smith isn't penalised the week before and IS placed on report.

Had the Tigers slotted the goal they are in the GF.

                        Go figure.

JT that is exactly what i can never work out for the life of me. How the F**K does Jerm Smith not get penalised for a blatant knee to the back of Tuqiri, which would have resulted in the Tigers kicking a penalty goal and winning the game. There was no excuses to miss it with Harrigan getting a zillion looks at it as video ref, while Tuqiri lay injured on the ground. The only thing that can spring to mind is that there was a big push by the powers in charge for the dragons to get into the GF, cause 'NO ONE' can be that incompetent as to miss such an obvious incident!! Also, how the F**K did Jerm Smith be allowed to play in the GF and not get suspended????? It really pisses me off when blatant BULL$HIT like this happens in our game!!!!! One thing i will add, i would bet my life that if the dragons played the titans and the Roosters played the tigers in the GF qualifiers, it would have been a dragons vs tigers GF cause that would be the dream scenario for the NRL. The Roosters would have been royally shafted against the tigers without a doubt!!!!!!!!!! I know the last part is a bit out there, but i will not be told otherwise!

You need to get a grip on reality the incident involving Smith and Tuquiri was about 10 meters in from touch and 70 meters out from the Tigers try line. It would have requirede the greatest conversion in modern day history to see Wests kick a penalty goal from there.
