Agree 100%. Already someone (I didn't catch who) has already said on the radio that the loss of our "great" players to other codes is something that the independent commision should look at. Its the Glycemic Index's own fault. He already had a contract waiting for his signature wiith the Bronx.

I just watched Nine news and James Hird hasn't spoken to him and only knows that there is a meeting sometime in the next few days.

His manager is flying him down there to make it look like he is doing something, his only hope here is Souffs pulling off a miracle or Parra who have played the greatest poker hand in history

Aside from the whole "different body shape" thing between AFL and League, and the obvious situation of Hunt and Folau being signed simply to attract curious crowds, the most interesting thing I read recently is that even kicking is different in the AFL.

In league, we kick across the body but in AFL the drop punt is a straight kick. Obvious if you watch the two codes but was interesting that Folau and Hunt need to learn to kick from scratch!!

Yeah, but of course the AFL is queuing up to pay above the odds for players who have to learn even the most basic AFL skills from scratch.
