they are definatley world class. remember this though ,there human capabilities look to me to be tyreing.both slater and cam looked and played tryed in our last two kangaroo tours. To much football does take its toll. REMEMBER ; when we were on top fittler minichello n co, three gf,s in a row plus origin and kangaroo representation, players get used to winnig and don,t cope when its not the same old same old.fatigue is mental as well as physical. yes they should be in the top ten but there a culture used to winning most games in a season, lets see how they go when they lose a few more games than normal! I think there metal has lost its luster. it is the end of an era for the storm .all clubs go through this thats why we have a salary cap! poor cheats!

IMHO Melb won't make the 8, their pack won't last the season.

No matter how good Slater and Smith are, you can't win going backwards, and Cronk will also be shown to be no better than any other half once they start going backwards.
I agree - i do not believe Melbourne will make the 8 this year.

IMO their pack will not beat many other packs all year..

I'm still really disappointed that Champion had to go to the Storm to accommodate that lazy fat lump Inglis. Champion was one of the only players who put in for Souths. I see Inglis as a divisive and ultimately destructive influence at Souths.

As much as I dislike Souths and their working man's club B.S., I'd rather they thrive than a shoe-horned, lichen-like (as in they are clinging on in an unwelcoming environment) football team like the storm.
