  • salary cap????

I had a look at all of the clubs and player profiles,There is no way the nrl! the dogs, melbourne or souffs could be any where near the cap.[ count the players n do some rough figures, I can,t find any way of squeezing them in].

Dogs don't have any massive marquee players. I seriously can't see their top payed player earning anything over 300k.

Storm are on the other end of the scale, plenty of highly payed players and then a whole lot of fillers.

Souffs tell us they're playing with a few back ended contracts, I guess we'll find out how true that is next year... I've got my doubts.

surely the dogs new signings,[which aren,t undeveloped juniors]. plus last years new signings and resigned players, including there existing roster [whom are seasoned players and were resigned in the past because the club valued there ability]. would all be on resonable money.

Ryan's over $300k, around $350k. Hodkinson is on $270k, Ennis will be on good money, but Ryan is top dog in the money stakes. We have depth in our back row and halves but bugger all in outside backs and front rowers.

I would think that any club in the NRL would pay minimum $300K for Eastwood..

I would even pay more than that...

Fair comment, but Eastwood's deal has extras in it. The club will need to include the transfer fees and expenses to buy out his Leeds contract.

Unfortunately, we don't have any movie deals for family and friends to offset those. He will go into our cap on full freight without concessions or discounts.

No, I'm not ... I thought they would be though. That's a potential loophole, if not.

Not really the transfer fee goes to the club you are buying him from, not the player.
