I think they hit the nail on the head this year Marshall had a very good year and should have been playing the GF against the Roosters.

Needless to say that when they were found out as frauds........she said nothing !!!

Anyone who continues to wear one of those things is a deadset tosser. If you have even the most basic understanding of the human body you know that a flimsy little rubber band is not going to make you stronger. The only thing it affects is your brain, or lack of.

But Chickadee....you have it all wrong !!!!

The Rubberband does nothing, it is the little holographic disk in the rubberband that is meant to be the all powerful item behind the massive increase in strength and power !

Sometimes it is just as easy to sell someone the harbour bridge than explain to them that powerbands don't work !

Especially if you wear it around your neck.

Power bands can work - it's called the placebo effect. With even a basic science understanding, I said to convert friends from the start that there's no way you can "embed a frequency in a holographic sticker" and that any benefits they felt were powered by the mind and not their $60 bit of plastic. They just shook their heads at me and said I obviously didn't understand, lol.

Mind you, I made a fair few dollars selling the things to people who did believe in it. I even had people accuse me of selling fakes (since they were cheaper than the stores) and then go on to do their dinky little demonstrations to prove mine were "real" to their (and my) utter amazement. It's hilarious watching someone do the 'standing on one leg' trick and trying to tip someone else over etc in the middle of a market.

Funny though, the die hards who argued with me at the start that they were an awesome scientific breakthrough no longer wear them. The ones who said it's probably just a placebo effect but it felt like they benefited are still wearing them.
