In a shock turn of events at the Redfern club, current NRL coach John Lang will return to the field for the 'proud club' (LOL) in 2012 after his coaching contract expires. Lang has been touted by Souths officals as the x factor needed in an underperforming pack with his performances and effort at training standing out to South Sydney Talent scouts.
'His definatley still got it, to be honest with you he is probably in better shape then GI at the moment.' It is understood he will line up in the front or Second row alongside Burgess and Dave Taylor and is understood to be the 'next big thing' at Souths, the missing piece in delivering their first premiership since the dark ages.
