When the Tigers won in 05 or 06 against the Cowboys, I told a friend who was a tigers fan that it was a flash in the pan and they would never amount to anything and they proved me right by not making a finals series till 2010. They are overrated. They only have Marshall who gets injured 2-3 times a season and an old league-rugby reject in Tuquiri. The rest are all no bodies.

Premiership favourites is a tag that carries un wanted pressure when your under performing! I would rather not be rated and have some personal expectation from week to week.....

whether some of you like it or not, marshall is a machine and has developed into a genuine consistent play maker. They have quite a mobile pack and will always be dangerous on the fringes. Contenders i say, and probably finish within the top 6

im not sure how you can say the tigers are over-rated, our games against them in recent histroy have been very close, and they are one of the best entertaining football sides in the comp, as most people i would say souths is constantly the most over-rated team, easily, without a shadow of a doubt.

Got to be kidding right... you can highlight one injury from last year. This is Rugby League ffs, every player must be injury prone if that's the criteria.

Benji like all kids who start young had issues with his body but he's well past them, anyone who has watched football over the last few years realised that long ago.

Yeh spot on, Tigers play a very expansive game... similar to us. Neither of us will hit our best until the back half of the season. The earlier rounds suit the teams who like to play up the middle (Dragons, Storm etc.) it doesn't suit teams like the Tigers and us who play a far more expansive game. I wouldn't be reading to much into their early performances and they were always going to lose to the Bulldogs as far as I'm concerned even though I still maintain the Tigers are the better side.
