Would it be that Sam Burgess gets the hump and wants to leave, would Uncle Nick ask him over a cup of tea?

I would not be surprised if Inglis was in the same boat.
He certainly didn't seem ready for the match, he didn't look too impressed when he came off injured early in the match

Imagine the hue and cry from the red and green if Burgess came over to us! I would have him in a heartbeat!

Yes!! I can just hear the bitching and moaning that the roosters are again stealing their juniors

There is the difference between the clubs.

We asked our boy if he was ok to play. He said no and we rested him.

Theirs was forced to play when he didn't want to.

I have this feeling. after seeing Burgess' expression after some losses last year, that he was overly impressed with $ouff$ and that once his contract is over he will be out the door.

I've heard and read where people have said that in the past, but then why would he recommend that his younger brother come over and play with them if he wasn't happy there himself?

                        At the expense of who?

I wouldn't swap any of our current crop of boppers for Burgess.

Because they would have him. Once he is in the NRL, he can then move to another club if he wishes.

and the money, it may have even been part of he rather large outlay to get Burgess here.

I certainly don't know, but its the impression from some of his body language I saw last year.

Any of them. Burgess is a better player than any of our current crop of forwards. People get blinded by the red and green, but Burgess is easily one of the best forwards in the world.

geez Idris is giving Inglis a bath just ran straight around him and Inglis was lucky to get within a couple of metres of him.
