FOUR of rugby league's top player agents are fighting to save their immediate careers as a result of the Melbourne Storm salary cap scandal.
George Mimis, Alan Gainey, Isaac Moses and David Riolo will be issued with show cause notice today asking to explain they should not be suspended.
Together the four managers handle the affairs of more than 150 NRL stars.
Mimis manages champion storm fullback Billy Slater and Gainey looks after Greg Inglis while Riolo's and Moses's Titan Player Manager group look after Cameron Smith.
The show cause notices are the result of a six-month investigation by the NRL and its player agent accreditation committee, headed by leading Sydney barrister Geoff Bellew. The committee's decision to issue the notices was unanimous.
