hahaha 34-0 or so right now against the Titans with a good 15 minutes on the clock... HAMMERING! That's better than the Dragons by far... maybe a sign?

Edit: 40-0!!! Hopefully a sign that the Dragons weren't so hot last week They only got over the line thanks to a major stuff-up by the ref against a team that well...

          It's looking that way Glory.
When you look at the Melb backline, apart form Slater, there's not to much there.

Titans are my tip to fall from grace this year. I know its easy to say after a shellacking like tonight's, but they have an aging player roster and haven't really bought anyone decent this season. Their star signing is Luke Capewell.... a Rabbits reject. After losing Rogers they needed to find another player with the 'smarts' to wheel them around the paddock and take pressure off Prince. At the moment, if Prince doesn't do it, well it just aint gonna happen!

Beau's old man will be having a great laugh.
He had the shits with South's last year and would have ropable with the treatment of Beau.

I thought he played well too but I'm glad we played souths with inglis as u think champion would off done more damage... I also thought I hated him but seeing him in a storm jersey lessens that hate

Nah luckiest player is Benji Marshall.

Ridiculously overrated. Yeah he's naturally brilliant and pulls off things that no-one else does but he relies so much on luck, bounce of the ball, the low percentage plays.

The great players make those around them look great as well. Marshall just makes himself look good. Watching the Tigers game right now and he just went for a grubber all for himself when it was completely unnecessary (only down by 6 with 30 mins to go).

That's why I love Carney as a player, he makes Pearce better, lets Anasta play better, brought out the best in SKD. But when the chips are down and they've got no other option but to risk it all he pulls it off (e.g. down 15-2 versus Tigers in the finals last year).

                    So true!!!
Only change is Inglis, and he's shit anyway (replaced by Champion, who is of similar value IMO if not better.)

My hope is that the Storm are sh!t, just the Dragons are worse, and both will get pounded later in the season. A dream I know ;(

I'm not saying he's a bad player I just don't think he's the best player in the world or the best 5/8 or in the same class as Johns etc (as Ray Warren and Gus Gould have said in the past).

Meh Benji pretty well single handedly demolished the Aussies last year... I rate him as a player, especially that flick pass and step. He makes miracle plays look like luck, but they'd all be rehearsed in training I reckon coz there's always somebody standing right where he delivers the ball.

Not a NZ, Tigers or Benji fan, but I'll give him respect where due. He's much better than say Sandow or Soward and has the edge on Lockyer in his old age. Has experience on Carney, but nothing else. Still... one of the top 3 5/8's in the game I reckon. Wonder where he'd be now if he'd opted to play for Australia?

I thought that Aussie side we picked was pretty average though but fair call.

Ingliss is the luckiest. He gets to meet Crowe and Oprah!
