Bennett was even quoted as saying "Tell the boss (referring to Politis) that I'm still coming" even after it was leaked he was coming to us. He then got a lot of heat from Lachlan Murdoch (who hates Politis) about coming to us and in the end the Broncs made changes including the promise to get rid of Cullen to keep Bennett happy for a couple more years.

The whole leaking thing was a furffy as Bennett was coming anyway. That was before Murdoch offered enough to make Wayne go back on his word which is another reason I hate the two faced hypocrite.

Three weeks before it was made public Geyer was the first to leak it out on Talkin' Sport. After it all went pair shaped because of the leak I called him and put it to him who told him about it. I asked whether it was Fittler or Gould and after his usual spluttering he said that it was neither but of course he couldn't disclose who it was.
