My (inconsistent) sources are saying low $300's plus 3rd party arrangements. Bit much for a centre if you ask me, and a flaky one at that. Considering our half is pulling around $270k.

Disappointing really, not so much that we have lost Idris but that we can't seem to retain players once another club is interested. Especially, one like Idris that got his start with the 'Dogs and is still establishing himself in the NRL.

Regardless, his manager wasn't ever going to do us any favours once the 'Dogs sacked one of his other clients.

At the moment we have a massive bite mark on our arse bearing a remarkable resemblance to Karma's dental profile.

This would be heart-breaking news for Dogs 'supporters'.

Just from travelling to and from the game at ANZ (yes outside my North Shore bubble), its clear all the youngsters idolised him. This may be a bit extreme, but it's like he gave them a ray of hope, just as Bradman did in the G.D.
