At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.

Why?? because he cant tackle??? Is it a Roosters philosiphy to only have halves that can tackle, but have no idea in attack???
Just asking!!
How predictable are you? You slagged the young bloke long and hard in 09, then went missing in 2010. Your little f buddy coward at the merge would be getting hammered if he was playing with us! Atleast our half can tackle, your little pussy mate should go play AFL, because all he can do is shirt pull and kick!
I think jnr has been well behind the 8ball this season, but you are jumping up and down a bit higher than usual pwn.
The kid is never going to be as creative as Carney or Thurston but he will carry this side onward and upward. He has the passing game - just needs to improve his running and attacking mentality (have to question the coaching?).
He does seem to be stuck in the same rut that the rest seem to be in.

I think Pearce has built up his size and strength at the expense of speed and he has lost all acceleration. Without a decent running game and a pretty ordinary short kicking game he is being exposed alongside Anasta. Does anyone ever get excited when Pearce gets the ball thinking something might happen? The club has majorly blunded releasing Jacob Miller. I would have put him at half and moved Pearce to 6. I think that combo would at least offer some hope of enterprise. Anasta is dead weight.
We can see that he is capable of creating in the opp.20 as evidenced by his classic ball to Maubs earlier in the year, or even as recent as yesterdays great ball to Fpn.
The problem is the mental application.
Far too often this year he has been playing too lateraly as well as not backing himself like last year.
The reason? Who knows?
mental state, lack of confidence without TC, coaching, lack of patience, Anasta?
I agree though that he needs to pull his finger out. Starting with his strength - organising.

Yet he out paced Soward in a foot race to score in Vs Dragons................

Pearce will shine when Carney is back. Teams are targeting him right now as they know Anasta is useless and is more likely to put on a try for them with his shitty grubber at the goal line than he is to put one on for us.
Carney returns, the focus shifts to him, Pearce begins to get more room to move and all of a sudden it's 2010 where his kicking game is on song, passing game is sticking (he's passing well right now) and with his increased size his incisions at the line will work.
Like I said last night, it's difficult to play football when it's 1 vs. 17.

With Carney out, I think that Anasta thinks he owns the ball playing. Pearce has alot of respect for Anasta, and just passes it to him. The more I watch Anasta, the more it is really pissing me off.
