SOUTHS' season is going from bad to worse, with star forward Sam Burgess to miss the rest of the year.
The Rabbitohs forward injured his ankle in the recent loss against the Bulldogs and yesterday tweeted that the damage was worse than first thought.

``Thanks for all your well wishes tweeps-opp wasn't the best, more damage than expected & needed a screw,'' Burgess said on his Twitter account.

``Will miss rest of the season-GUTTED.''

It had earlier been hoped that Burgess would spend as little as six weeks out injured.



I do admit that i feel a sorry for Burgess himself because he is a class player who i love watching, but the same can't be said for the scum of a club he plays for. LOL@SOUFFS
