The Sharks have also not ruled out offering an early release to struggling back-rower Anthony Tupou, who is soaking up $400,000 of the salary cap.He is under contract until the end of next season.wat do u guys think worth signing again

As much as i liked toops as a player and it would be the chance for "the Toopedo" sign to see the light of day again, i would say no, he has had his time at the Roosters. We have players of his calibre in the wings, playes like Tasi, Arona, Mataka and Cordner, plus players like Frank and cherro as well.

Plus, he would not want much less than the 400k he is getting now. No Value.

I agree with Mario. I was a massive fan of Tupou at the Roosters. But he has moved on and so have we.

We do need someone to set up some second phase play in the forwards. I thought FPN would do more of this. Hopefully Cherro will next year.

No thanks to Toops. Once my favourite Rooster but now just a guppie and I see he still runs hot and cold.

I doubt any club is going to want to pay him $400k.. will be interesting to see how low his salary goes

Always thought he may return one day.

But he would be on a substantially reduced salary.

                    Not needed.

In backrowers we have Symonds, Maubs, Cordner, Cherri, Arona and FPN all with more upside that Toups. Throw in Anasta who plays for 80 minutes and there is no room.

There are a lot of good backrowers listed there, but Cherrington and to a lesser extent FPN are the only ones that can really initiate any second phase play.

Agree that with Anasta in the backrow, you can not afford another ballplayer.
