South Sydney have lured former Test and NSW Origin star MATT
KING back to the NRL on a two-year deal starting next season.
The 30-year-old centre has spent the last four years playing
with Warrington in Super League, but will reunite with former
Melbourne teammate GREG INGLIS at Redfern in 2012.
KING'S recruitment will give the Rabbitohs a distinct Storm
flavour next year, with backrower MICHAEL CROCKER also at the club
and incoming coach MICHAEL MAGUIRE a former Melbourne assistant to
CRAIG BELLAMY.

agreed, not all esl players can come and fit straight back into the top level of nrl the way mark riddell did .

In all seriousness, anyone who expects matt king to be anything more than a shadow of the man he was 4 years ago is kidding themselves and just keen to bag our board for anything. This would be a stupid buy for us on so many levels

Matt King is an OUTSTANDING player. I am a diehard fan of both the Roosters and Warrington in Super League and King has been the best player in the league the last 2 months or so. We desperately need someone like that at the Roosters. Our whole attacking game is bomb after bomb after bomb, so why not sign a guy who is one of the best in the world under the high ball? Points just come from around him. Will be devastated to see such a good bloke in a Souths jersey!
