Is it me or does Parramatta's attack resemble to Roosters?

Another example today, $ouffs tapped the ball off a penalty, but tapped it off the mark. But instead of a scum feed to Cronulla the ref said "next time I will award a scrum !!". Whats happened to the rules. You hear it al lthe time refs warning players that next time they are offside they will be penalised....
I agree with your first example, but I am fine with the refs cutting slack on stuff like that that has absolutely no impact on the result of the game.

Letting offside go, constant forward passes from dummy half go, and tactics in the ruck go for the sake of the flow of the game is giving the refs too much control on the outcome of the game.

But cutting slack on taking a tap a bit off the mark or being a foot offside from the kickoff is fine for me. Sure it is against the letter of the law, but I don't want a game that ends up like rugby union.

THe reality is if you are at the bottom of the table playing a team closer to the top, the 50/50s will always go against you - doesn't matter who you are. If you want the rub of the green then you must first be competitive enough for you being jipped to actually matter.

These comments are not about The effect of bullshit refereeing on the Roosters, but the effect of bullshit refereeing on the game itself.

Cronulla received more penalties than any other team last season.
