Yes they do lack attacking options and speed, they are in a rebuilding phase and have recruited well for 2012. its Matuias first game back and he played well considering his lack of match fitness. add Sandow Roberts Matuia and another smart buy for 2012 with the up and comers[allgood Loco Peletese etc] . they have 5 or so 1 year deals with dads army who won't be there in 2012. parras better defensive efforts and discipline performances in 2011 with some added attack will go a long way in 2012....

That game had a perfect example of what is wrong with RL.
The scores were locked at 12-12 and Parra had a set of 6 (the one before Gillette scored). Brisbane's markers were offside 3 tackles in a row (as well as their def line at least twice) and neither ref blew a penalty. It was so obvious that it was embarassing and the referees did not want to blow a penalty that might help decide the game.

You know something Billy, you are so very right.
I also observed that due to the consistant off side defence of the Broncos Wallace in particular, that it forced Parra to turn the ball back toward the forwards.
When Parra reverted to short passes thru the middle they had some success.
The Broncos where allowed to lay all over the tackled player as well.
To be honest I believe Harrigan is destroying the game with his "let the game flow" bulls..t.

Another example today, $ouffs tapped the ball off a penalty, but tapped it off the mark. But instead of a scum feed to Cronulla the ref said "next time I will award a scrum !!". Whats happened to the rules. You hear it al lthe time refs warning players that next time they are offside they will be penalised....
