Voss is an excellent commentator, he lives and breathes league, and he knows more about the game than 99.9% of the people who frequent this joint
Whether Voss loves or hates the game is irrelevent, its damn obvious he doesn't know or understand the game properly and the players do not respect him.
As said by alot of posters, the sooner CH9 lose the rights the betterThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

I'll stand by this, he is either a gibbering idiot that knows nothing about the game or a good actor playing the role of a gibbering idiot that knows nothing about the gameThe Internet is a place for posting silly things

Sterling, Gould and Voss know them better than most
If you watch TV games and come away thinking that those 3 don't know what they're talking about, unfortunately the real problem lies closer to home

Sterling and Gould know the game very well, and continually show up Voss' lack of knowledge.
Even so, unfortunately its getting more obvious that Gould and Sterling are not allowed to impart their knowledge but (especially in Gould's case) act like clowns. The Internet is a place for posting silly things

Unlike the majority of people on this website and the majority of journos & commentators, I actually refereed for a number of years in the juniors up to A grade. I know most of the rules. I know when the commentators get it wrong. And they do - ridiculously often for people who are so-called experts.
I am NOT talking about League in general. I am talking about their knowledge of the rules. How often do they get the reason for a penalty wrong? Or blame the ref for an incorrect decision when he gets it right? Or fail to criticise him when he gets it wrong? Take for example last year's grand final. Or the second Stewart Mills try against the Roosters - Gould's assertion that the try should be awarded not because it was a try but because he deserved it? These are what people are unhappy about.
Maybe the problem lies with willingness to put up with crap because it comes from so-called experts.Last edited by Juggler; 07-15-2011, 10:47 PM.
